Air to Air Heat Pumps

Air to air heat pumps provide both heating and cooling options, and comprise of an indoor and outdoor unit. Air to air heat pumps work by using air from outside as the source of heating or cooling, and pumping it throughout the house for the desired effect. Because this energy is collected from the air outside, this is an extremely energy-efficient and low-cost way of heating or cooling your property.
Our air to air heat pumps are available as concealed ceiling units, high wall units, and under ceiling units, with all units being easy to control and maintain.

Air to Water Heat Pumps

Air to water heat pump systems use the energy from air to transport heat into water for use around your home or commercial property. These systems are primarily used for hot water in the home in taps, showers, radiators, and baths.
Here at Northern Refrigeration Services, we supply and install two types of air to water heat pumps; high temperature heat pumps and low temperature split/mono block systems.
High temperature heat pump systems are best used to replace and existing boiler for large amounts of hot water, while low temperature systems are more suitable for use alongside aluminium radiators, underfloor heating, or a combination of both. Both types of heat pump are a fantastic way of saving money on your heating bill, and are a more energy-efficient and eco-friendly way of heating your property.
